Theresa's Story

Theresa story's is one of perseverance and determination to do the right thing.   

For 12 Years, since my partner passed away, my situation was a difficult one. We both were part owners of a house. This dual ownership plagued me and prevented me from moving on with life.  

It had been so stressful because for over a decade, I had poured much of my time and effort into a property I did not fully own. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars on this house, and after my partner's death, I didn’t know if I’d ever get a return on my investment. 

To add insult to injury, it was extremely difficult to find anyone to represent me. I spoke with many other attorneys who all gave me excuses, and reasons as to why I would not be successful in recovering my hard spent efforts and money.  

The other attorneys told me it would be “near impossible” to get the property transferred because of how many family members of my partner had passed away after he died and how much money we invested into the house.
